International/U.S. Domestic Waters

 

July 1, 2003
Self-propelled passenger vessels of 150 gross tons or more engaged on an international voyage
Not later than first safety survey on or after July 1, 2003
Self-propelled tankers regardless of tonnage engaged on an international voyage
July 1, 2004
Self-Propelled vessels, other than passenger vessels or tankers, engaged on an international voyage and over 50,000 gross tons
Not later than first safety survey on or after July 1, 2004, but no later than December 31, 2004 Self-Propelled vessels, other than passenger vessels or tankers, engaged on an international voyage, of 300 gross tons but less than 50000 gross tons
December 31, 2004 Self-propelled vessels of 65 feet or more in length, except for passenger and fishing vessels, in commercial service and on an international voyage.
