Inventory Control Specialist
Mackay Communications, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our Deer Park, TX office. This position is responsible the monitor and control of materials and/or supplies. Maintaining an accurate inventory, receive and fill orders, obtain availability and pricing of needed equipment, parts, and/or materials. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and has the proven ability to work independently and multitask in a faced-paced environment.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have: 3-5+ years of inventory control and/or stockroom experience.
Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to interpret and solve problems and issues, using instructions, diagrams, or schedule forms.
Research and locate via the Internet items the customer is seeking.
Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control and procedures.
Verification of materials/parts received against purchase orders and/or requisitions.
Maintaining a 100% accuracy in inventory, including but not limited to order reconciliation, cycle counts, directing of physical inventory counts, adjustments, discrepancy analysis, lot and quantity adjustments, and inventory maintenance.

Marine Electronics Technician
Requirements: FCC licensed with radar endorsement. GMDSS license required or secured shortly after hire date. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent Benefit package.

Description:
Under limited supervision, the technician will install, service, and repair electronic equipment on board ships. The incumbent will test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas. They will load, update, and modify software. Incumbents will use their knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems. They will make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments. Upon completing the assignment, the technician will compose a detailed service report.
Qualifications
Incumbent must possess an Associates Degree or equivalent education, training, and experience
PC proficiency
Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application
Valid FCC General License with Radar Endorsement
GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License
Be physically fit. Work environment often involves carrying 20 40 lbs, climbing ladders and masts, and exposure to weather

Northern Europe Accounts Manager
Mackay Marine is a leader in the marine electronics sales and service industry. We continue to expand our global footprint to ensure we meet and exceed our customer's needs and to attract new customers. We are seeking a Northern European Sales Representative to drive our growth in this region. The position reports directly to our European Managing Director.
The position would primarily perform the following functions:
1. Serve as the primary account manager and increase sales to those companies resident in Northern Europe whose vessels make regular calls into the USA, Europort, Singapore and Panama.
2. Generate and present quotations and follow up.
3. Help organize and accommodate sales visits to Northern Europe by Mackay executives.
4. Expand territory to grow sales volume.
5. Responsible for monthly sales report and trade show reports.
Prerequisites:
5+ years of successful marine experience
2+ years in a Sales environment
Technical expertise and experience. Good working knowledge of bridge electronics is a pre.
Self-motivator works well with minimum supervision
Fluency in English required, other languages are beneficial.
Effective communicator, will phone and e-mail interact with many departments.

Mackay Communications, Inc. is currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our Deer Park, TX office. This position is responsible for assessing clients needs and dispatching Marine Service Engineers to perform required work. Successful candidate will have relevant knowledge of repair and maintenance of marine electronic equipment and parts.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinates service and posts jobs on the service board
Tracks the movement of vessels
Calls Agents to check on vessel movements
Sends completion reports to customers
Interfaces with the Parts Department
Enters jobs into the company database
The successful candidate must possess dispatching experience and excellent customer service. Candidates with experience in the Marine industry preferred.
Requirements:
Associate degree in electronics or communications preferred
2 + years of dispatching experience
3 + years of customer service experience, international experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

World Service Coordinator - Netherlands
Our office in Zevenbergen, the Netherlands is presently seeking a World Service Coordinator. The World Service Coordinator will coordinate service jobs for Mackay Marines customers requiring service in International and Domestic Ports. This position will communicate with customers worldwide via phone, fax, and email, including local ship agents and managers.
This position is responsible for:
Providing excellent customer service by answering phones and responding accordingly
Calling agents to check on vessel movements
Validating customer credit
Generating service call IDs in company database, Microsoft Dynamics SL
Sending completion reports to customers
Interfacing with the parts department
Ensure compliance with office processes including timely completion of service work, service pricing, and general record keeping
The successful candidate will:
Be fluent in English
Have 2+ years experience with service coordination and/or maritime sector
Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
Have MTS or equivalent
Demonstrate strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
