Globalstar GSP-2900-ST20 Fixed Phone Unit – Maritime or Extreme Conditions **PLEASE READ IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW** Globalstar GSP-2900 family of Fixed Phones allows you to bring the coverage and reliability of satellite communications indoors. The GSP-2900-Stick antenna (ST) fixed phone allows for mounting the sensitive phone components in a protected area while mounting the fixed weatherproof rod-antenna outside (with a clear line of sight to the satellites). Like the standard GSP-2900, the –ST version can be configured to provide a single line of service to as many as five standard telephone jacks, giving you convenient custom installation options or just plug in a standard cordless phone for ultimate flexibility. Because the GSP-2900 phones generate a standard dial-tone, you can use any off-the-shelf FCC approved cordless phone, standard phone speakerphone, answering machine, connect to a PBX system, or use the high-quality included desktop speakerphone. The GSP-2900-ST is ideal for installation in maritime or other extreme weather environments, whether it be the corrosive salt of the sea, extreme cold, or blistering heat. Optional lenght of cables: GSP-2900-ST30 (30 ft. cable)- $2,635.00 GSp-2900-ST55 (55 ft. cable)- $2,720.00 Call one of our Sales Associates at (919) 850-3100 for additional information and pricing on the Low profile (LP) version of the antenna unit or the Mini-Stick antenna (MST) **Download our Pricing Sheet to view our limited time Airtime Promotion** Call (919) 850-3100 for details! Important Notice: Earlier this year Globalstar announced an anomaly in the satellite S-band antenna amplifier affecting service and call quality. A re-configuration of its satellite constellation was performed to facilitate the launch of 8 new satellites into orbit by mid-2007, of which 4 have already been launched. Subscriber's service will continue to be available; however, at certain times in any given location it will take substantially longer to establish calls and the average duration of calls may be impacted adversely. Please refer to the News section of this website for more information and updates about the Globalstar network.
