Furuno GP37 WAAS/DGPS Navigator

Furuno’s new advanced 12-channel GPS Navigator, the GP37, includes all of the features, design and high performance attributes found with its predecessor, the GP36, but with several enhancements that set the GP37 apart from its competitors. The GP37 is supplied standard as a combined WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) and DGPS receiver. In addition to being able to manually select WAAS or DGPS modes, the GP37 has an AUTO mode that prioritizes GPS fixes in the following order: DGPS, WAAS, GPS. This capability provides the GP37 customers with the newest leading edge technology (WAAS), simultaneously with the “tried and true” function of a USCG and SOLAS-approved correction method (DGPS).
