Shipments
Mackay ships orders using the most efficient methods possible, although the size, dimensions, weight and cost of some items require a specific carrier to be used. With all shipments, you can be sure that the most economical shipping method will be selected, unless the customer requests another method.

For expedited delivery rates (overnight, two-day, etc.) or ground freight charges, call (919) 850-3100. UPS and Federal Express will not ship to P.O. box numbers, so please provide a complete street address for prompt delivery

Shipping Schedules
Allow at least ten business days for domestic deliveries and twenty business days for international deliveries before contacting Mackay on an order status via Email at satserv@mackaycomm.com (preferred)

Truck Freight Shipments
Items too heavy or too large for standard ground shipments will be shipped by truck. Please call Mackay for a freight quote at (919) 850-3100. It is critical that you include your daytime telephone number on the order form so the carrier can schedule equipment delivery to be made when you will have unloading help on hand. (Trucking freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional lift gate fee will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise.) The freight rates and tax (if applicable) will be added to the product subtotals and credit card charges will be detailed in the invoice accompanying the shipment.

Factory Shipments
Some equipment and products will come directly to the customer from the manufacturer’s factory. Your detailed invoice will be sent to you separately from Mackay, who will also contact you if significant delays in shipments are anticipated.

Return Procedures
Items can be returned within 30 days after receiving an authorization number by calling Mackay at (919) 850-3100. Once authorization is obtained, please complete all the information on the “Return Form” that is included in your shipment. Attach the Return Form to a legible copy of your packing invoice and return it insured for the total value via UPS or International Carrier to the address provided on the Return Form. Returns on damaged shipments require carrier (UPS, Parcel Post, Federal Express, Trucking Company, etc.) notification before calling Mackay for return authorization. All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt; return postage is not reimbursed for items, unless they are returned due to non-functioning devices. Mackay cannot accept responsibility for damages incurred after a customer has signed for the merchandise in good condition. In addition, some equipment (i.e., special orders) is non-returnable. Returns of “Factory Shipped” items will be subject to a 20% manufacturer’s restocking charge. Please have your packing slip ready when you call Mackay.

Mackay’s Buyer Statement
Mackay does not in any way warrant that you, the customer, can lawfully purchase any items, which you may order, under the applicable state and/or local laws. You as the buyer, warrant that you have checked those laws, that you are of legal age to purchase these items and that you are not under any legal disability, which would in any way affect your ability to lawfully purchase these items.

Warranties On Merchandise
The manufacturer, not Mackay, warrants all products. Neither Mackay nor their manufacturers may be held responsible for customer misuse of the merchandise. If you call, e-mail or write about an item, we must have the invoice number of the item.

Sales Tax
Upon processing your order, you will be charged a sales tax equal to the tax rate of the ship-to address unless a valid Re-Seller Exemption Certificate or Manufacturer’s Certificate is on file with Mackay Communications, Inc

Product prices are subject to change without notice. Mackay reserves the right to correct layout, Internet and/or printing errors. Photos and specifications may vary. Quantities of some products may be limited or backordered.
