Mackay Satellite Continues to Support Hurricane Relief & Rebuilding Effort – “Always On” Satellite Phone and Data Terminals to Ensure Communications

Since mid-August, Mackay Satellite has committed a dedicated team to fulfill the continuous demand for satellite communications equipment and airtime plans, in the wake of three major hurricanes in Houston, Florida and the Caribbean.  Initially supplying hurricane preparedness response teams and individuals; the efforts have decidedly ramped up to support ongoing emergency relief, and community reconstruction efforts.

Mackay has had ample inventory and adapted airtime plans and system packages to  match the needs and expeditious timetable of emergency management, response, and recovery groups.

Over the last six weeks, Mackay’s team sold or rented 100’s of satellite connectivity systems:

Anticipating an ongoing need for satcom systems throughout the rebuilding process, particularly in the hardest-hit Caribbean region; Mackay is fully prepared to supply all types of satellite phones, mobile and fixed data terminals, and push-to-talk systems, complete with satellite airtime packages to meet unique customer requirements.
