FURUNO’s GP150 and GP150D (D) GPS Navigators are designed for SOLAS ships and comply with IMO & IEC GPS standard performance requirements effective on and after July 1, 2003.

Both  Furuno GPS Navigators are highly reliable standalone EPFS (electronic position fixing system), acting as conduits to supply positioning information to AIS, Radar, VDR, VideoPlotter, Autopilot, Echo Sounder and Sonar.   The GP150/D GPS Receivers dependability is increased by fault detection using five satellites.

The Furuno Navigator systems includes antenna and display unit with 6″ silver bright LCD, providing optimum visibility in all lighting levels. Dual configuration, with a second system, provides a backup and/or remote operation to ensure system availability.
