The Furuno FA150 AIS  Transponder is a maritime Universal AIS (Automatic Identification System) Transponder designed to exchange navigation and ship data between the vessel and other ships or coastal stations. The FA150 system includes a transponder and  distinct 4.5″ Silver Bright Display unit. The compact FA150 enables simple and efficient  installation with a user-friendly design.

The transponder contains a VHF transmitter, two TDMA receiver, a DSC channel 70 receiver, interface processor and internal GPS with a 12-channel all-in-view receiver with a DGPS option.  The versatile FA150 has a various interfaces for Radar, ECDIS and PC.

The FA150 complies with IMO MSC.74(69) Annex 3, A.694, ITU-R M.1371-1 and DSC ITU-R M.825, IEAC 61993-2 (Type testing standard) , and IEC 60945 (EMC and environmental conditions).
