The FAR-3000 Series Chart Radar combines Furuno’s enhanced target detection with a refined user interface and new, aerodynamic antennas, as well as a host of new and improved features. The new Solid State S-band transceiver generates clear echo images, even from weak targets and small craft. Our newly developed Power Amplifier generates properly modulated RF to targets around the vessel, while the receiver catches and processes weak signals. Signals are processed inside the Power Amplifier to further reduce clutter. The new, fan-less antenna design requires far less maintenance compared to Radars that rely on a magnetron.
