Furuno was the first company to receive a patent on a Chart Plotter and has coupled high-definition charting with everything from SATNAV to Loran to GPS and DGPS. Since that first model, and after many versions in between, we’re pleased to introduce our latest GPS Chart Plotter & Plotter/Sounder combination, the GP-3700 & GP-3700F.

Built with commercial vessel operators and commercial fishermen in mind, the GP-3700 combines the most sought-after features these rugged users demand. For the sake of simplicity and straightforward operation, we’ve stripped away many recreational-oriented “bells & whistles”, opting to developed a tough “throwback” plotter with instant access buttons for waypoints and routes, shortcuts for marks and hangs in different colors, and numbered sequences of strings for pots or other gear. The GP-3700 can be equipped with either GPS or DGPS, for higher precision position-fixing. The GP3700F goes beyond simple plotting and adds all the features of a tried and tested Furuno 600W or 1kW Fish Finder. The GP-3700F offers connection to our most common transducers that enable the highly sought-after Accu-Fish capability, as well as Bottom Discrimination, showing bottom type and probability graphing.
