The Danelec DM100 S-VDR is Danelec Marine’s standard type-approved S-VDR (Simplified Voyage Data Recorder) intended for the maritime retrofit market.

The DM100 S-VDR consists of a Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) coupled with a rugged industrial maritime computer platform (approved in accordance with IEC 60945), and a protective data capsule. Danelec S-VDRs are supplied with the VDR Explorer playback software as standard. The software runs from any PC and can provide real-time monitoring and replay recorded data.

Danelec Marine specializes in design and production of IMO-approved Voyage Data Recorders (VDR), to record and store, in a secure and retrievable form, details regarding ship’s position, movement, physical status, and command and control procedures for the period leading up to and following an incident.  Information gleamed from the maritime “Black Box”, will assist investigators in determining the cause of an accident, as mandated equipment on-board by most vessels.
