The SH-165A2/SH-165A2-1 Magnetic Compass from Tokyo Keiki is designed to offer two different types to the user. The SH-165A2 is a Reflector type magnetic compass, designed to reflect the card image of the compass bowl in a mirror through a reflecting pipe. This is lightened by a lamp located underneath and is assisted through the magnification of the card through a lens in the pipe. The SH-165A2-1 is a Remote display type of Magnetic Compass that uses the Universal Display UD-10 as a heading indicator, which saves space in the wheel house.
