FURUNO’s compact NX-700 is a Dual-Channel NAVTEX Receiver with a low-profile antenna, complying with IMO standards required for SOLAS ships on & after 1 July 2005.  Message printing enabled via integrated printer (NX700A) or by connecting an external serial printer (NX700B) .

Two-channel operations allow simultaneous receipt of international NAVTEX & selectable domestic / local NAVTEX communications.  Safety messaging include Navigational & Meteorological Warnings, Search & Rescue (SAR) details & other critical information for ships sailing within a service station’s coverage.  Broadcast stations can be selected automatically when the NX-700 is connected with a GPS navigator.
