The Navimotion from CAIM is composed of two different units: The main piloting processor and the UPS unit with “lead crystal” batteries allowing for an easy transport, and granting 10 hours of emergency backup power in case of emergency blackout. The system is built using the best technology for highly precise position detection and inertial systems. This product is approved by the Panama Canal Authority and is equipped with the latest technology in motion measurement and GNSS System. The Navimotion is fully compatible with the Panama Pilot’s Tablet, and can optionally supply NGMAT, the tablet supporting the crew in operations outside Panama.
