From 12/23, the ASE Citadel CIT-02 ComCenter will be EOL. Although no longer supplied, onboard units will continue to be supported by ASE, Iridium Network & Mackay Marine. Recommended replacement is the NEW BlueSky Network Skylink Citadel, operating on the Iridium Certus® Network.

ASE Anti-Piracy (Applied Satellite Engineering) Iridium Citadel CIT-02 was designed to enable secure voice, SMS data, and GPS position communications when an emergency situation arises at sea, such as being threatened by an external attack (piracy, terrorist act, political unrest) or an untenable scenario on-board.

Transmitted via the reliable global Iridium satellite network, once trained mariners initiate communications, they can be assured critical emergency messages & details will be sent via the ComCenter-II and received by pre-designated parties for notification and rescue assistance.
